No matter how many walls we raise and families we support, internationally policies and perceptions must change for us to be able to truly end poverty housing. UW Habitat has set a number of specific goals to ensure we continue to make sure every ounce of effort that goes into Habitat makes lasting change, here are a few:
Immediate Initiatives
- To engage over 100 members in actively advocating at various events
- To hold at least 1 large member advocacy events per semester
- To develop continual outreach events throughout the semester
Long term Direction
- Be known locally and regionally for advocacy campaigns
- Develop consistent local lobbying base
